Is the fingerprint more unique than the retina?
No. Both patterns are unique to every person, even identical twins. The difference lies in aesthetics and meaning, not in uniqueness.
Why does a fingerprint often look technical in jewelry?

About one minute. It takes place right during your appointment at the atelier and can easily be combined with the consultation.

Yes, that is possible, and we are happy to advise you openly on it. For fine, discreet luxury, we recommend the RetinaSignature as the more elegant alternative.
Can two RetinaSignatures be combined?
Gladly. As a matching pair set, each with its own pattern, or in a design that brings both structures finely together.
Do we need both eyes for this?
No. One beautiful pattern is enough. When choosing, we look together at which detail works best from a design perspective.
Is a RETINA®Ring truly a one-of-a-kind piece?
Yes. The engraving follows your personal pattern, and every ring is handcrafted individually. A second, identical piece cannot exist.
Can you tell by looking at the ring that it is a retina?
No. Without an explanation, you see a fine, organic line pattern. That is exactly the appeal: the meaning stays in your hands.
Which materials are possible?
Yellow, white, and red gold as well as platinum, with gemstones on request. Which metal suits you best, we determine together during the consultation.
What is the difference between Cameo and Verso?
With Cameo, the structure stands raised as a fine relief on the surface. With Verso, it is engraved into the metal and lies protected within it.
How long does production take?
Generally a few weeks for the entire journey of consultation, capture, design approval, and manufacture. Express production is possible by arrangement.
Does the RetinaSignature also work beyond rings?
Yes. Pendants, cufflinks, and other pieces are possible. The design follows the same path as for a ring.
What is more personal than a fingerprint?
