Consultation
Book a personal consultation – online or in our Basel atelier. We take the time to understand your wishes, your style, and your story. A visit to our atelier is a wonderful experience – but not a requirement. Your retina can also be scanned by a local partner, and your design journey can take place entirely via video call.
Design
Your personal RETINA® signature, styled exactly to your wishes, is transformed into a lifelike 3D rendering – a captivating first glimpse of the jewel that will soon be yours forever, exclusively.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does RETINA® jewelry cost?
Our personalized pieces of jewelry start from CHF 1,500, depending on the alloy and size.
Many of our customers also invest CHF 4,000 – 10,000 in their unique piece – depending on their individual wishes.
A ring in gold or platinum starts at around CHF 2,600 (variable due to the fluctuating gold price).
The exact price depends on various factors, which we will be happy to explain to you in detail during a consultation. These include above all the weight (ring size, width, thickness), the chosen alloy, as well as additional options such as gemstone settings, special ring edge designs, or an express service, if desired.
If you tell us your budget, we can advise you in the best possible way based on it.
How many people can be eternalized on one piece of jewelry?
We do not set a fixed limit.
For partner rings, it is usually one or two retina patterns – but we have also integrated the retina patterns of two children, or even immortalized the beloved gaze of a loyal dog.
Of course, in the case of a gift (instead of a partner ring), the giver can also be included – for example, a parent offering their own pattern alongside that of the child.
On bracelets, we have even integrated up to eight retina patterns – both eyes of four family members – a shared story captured in a single piece of jewelry.
How does the video consultation work?
Simply select a free appointment, and you’ll immediately receive a Zoom link to log in at the agreed time.
Of course we look forward to seeing you — but you don’t have to turn on your camera. Ours will be on so you can see us and our screen.
In the initial consultation, we’ll discuss all the details and try to give you a first price estimate. For an accurate quote — especially for rings — we’ll need your ring sizes.
If you don’t know them, we’ll send you a ring-sizing kit free of charge.
If you don’t yet have a RetinaScan, we’ll help you arrange one with a partner from our global network — the scan takes only a few minutes.
Once we’ve received these images, we’ll schedule a follow-up Zoom meeting to discuss the design and jointly select which retinas and which cut-outs should be used for your piece of jewelry.
After you’ve received our offer and — if desired — a 3D visualization by video, we can clarify any remaining questions in another video call or, if they’re simple, by email.
We try to make all of these meetings efficient so we don’t take too much of your time — while ensuring you have all the information you need to make such an important decision.
What are the payment terms?
If you would like a 3D visualization, we charge CHF 400 per piece of jewelry — this fee covers the effort required to create the 3D animation and will be credited 100% toward your order, so there are no additional costs.
When placing an order, 50% is payable by bank transfer, with the remainder due upon collection.
For customers abroad, we kindly ask for advance payment.
If you prefer individual conditions, such as payment in installments, please contact us.
Can the size be adjusted after purchase?
Yes – this is possible with our special technique.
The pattern, which has neither a beginning nor an end, is not altered when resizing by adding or removing material and therefore remains completely intact.
Only resizing rings with a stone setting is somewhat more complex, as the stone seat usually shifts slightly when the size is changed and may need to be corrected.
However, this is of course always checked before our final quality control and adjusted if necessary.
