How our jewelry protects our planet’s resources
Since 2015, we have been the first goldsmiths in Basel to process ecologically processed precious metals. We place great value on ethically correct trade and sustainable extraction of precious metals: our gold, silver, platinum, palladium, and copper as alloy metals do not come directly from a mine, which is known to cause constant harm to people and the environment. We source our gold and platinum exclusively from large, recognized refineries that completely reprocess precious metals from sources such as processing residues from goldsmiths or old gold. The gold, platinum, silver, or palladium in your jewelry is therefore guaranteed to come from safe sources far away from conflict regions. These precious metals are extracted in an environmentally sustainable manner that conserves natural resources.

Our diamonds are also environmentally sustainable
The media is constantly reporting on blood diamonds from African civil war countries or diamonds that are used to finance terrorism. We source our diamonds exclusively from 100% trustworthy sources. Our long-standing suppliers guarantee that all diamonds are ethically sourced and conflict-free. So you can enjoy the diamonds in your wedding rings with a clear conscience, safe in the knowledge that both the gemstones and the precious metals in your jewelry have been fairly traded.
Green Mining
We were the first goldsmiths in Basel to include Green Mining gemstones in our range. These gemstones are characterized by their environmentally friendly extraction methods: no explosives are used and no chemicals are required or released during extraction. Large trees are spared and the extraction area is reforested afterwards. This makes these gemstones even more valuable!
